Home Alone Visitor Camera Checks

Match Home Alone visitors to normal CCTV, night vision, yard, and vehicle evidence, with a repeatable observation routine and dated confidence labels.

Camera checks work when you know what comparison you are trying to make. Listen to the visitor’s request first, select the relevant feed on the front-room laptop, observe the normal view, then toggle night vision only when the current case calls for it. Cycling every feed and mode at random increases the chance that you miss a short movement, audio cue, vehicle, or yard detail.

Status: all individual cases are current community evidence checked 2026-08-06. Roblox does not publish official visitor tells. Recheck after updates and trust the current live scene over an older description.

Normal CCTV cases

Current guides associate the Dumped Girl with a camera-only expression difference, the Ballerina with movement or staring behavior, the Homeless Man with appearing or not appearing on camera, and the Dog Owner with the backyard view. The Obby Player case points to a car feed. These cases do not require you to assume that every strange frame is dangerous; they require a specific comparison tied to the story.

For the Dog Owner, locate the backyard feed before deciding. Current sources contrast an expected dog with a person behaving like the dog. For the Homeless Man, verify that you selected the correct camera and waited for the scene to load before treating absence as evidence. For the Ballerina or Dumped Girl, watch long enough to distinguish a pose from a sustained movement or expression.

Night-vision cases

The New Neighbour, Guy Who Needs To Pee, Secret Agent/FBI Agent, Lost Girl, and Sleepy Woman are currently associated with changes revealed after night vision is enabled. Reported differences include proximity to the camera, altered height or scale, an alien-like form, and sudden head movement. These details are corroborated by current visitor guides but remain non-official.

Always capture a baseline. If the visitor was not visible in normal mode, a different night-vision image does not create a clean before-and-after comparison. Stay on one feed, identify the same subject, enable night vision, and observe for a complete moment. Do not toggle repeatedly so quickly that animation or loading becomes the “tell.”

Outside and vehicle checks

The Police Man case is reported to depend on the vehicle outside: current sources contrast a police car with a damaged van. The Obby Player is linked to behavior around a claimed car. These cases may use a window view or exterior camera depending on the current build. Inspect the exact vehicle and action, not simply whether something is parked outside.

Vehicle clues are especially vulnerable to wrong-game and alias confusion. Verify the exact Home Alone experience and the visitor’s current request. If the live scene contains neither reported state, classify the check as incomplete instead of inventing a third verdict.

A reliable camera sequence

  1. Listen to the full request and identify the named subject: visitor, yard, car, or nearby object.
  2. Open the laptop and select the feed most likely to show that subject.
  3. Wait for the image to settle. Confirm the visitor or object is actually present.
  4. Observe normal CCTV first: presence, pose, movement, expression, yard state, and vehicle state.
  5. If the case specifies night vision, toggle it without changing feeds.
  6. Compare the same subject and wait for the reported transformation or movement window.
  7. If the case includes sound, keep the camera open long enough to hear it; then use the Audio Checks guide.
  8. Return to the door only after recording an ordinary, warning, or incomplete result.

Avoid false positives

Lag can freeze a character, delay a camera switch, or load a low-detail frame. A transition animation can look like a sudden change if you toggle night vision repeatedly. Another player can block the view in a group. Audio from a jumpscare or room effect can overlap a camera clue. Repeat once under a stable view before making a high-confidence call.

Do not decide from the visitor’s outfit at the door when the case specifies a camera. Do not use night vision for a house-state claim about an oven, faucet, cat, or sink. Those belong in House Checks. The evidence channel is part of the clue.

Solo and group operation

Solo players should pause the chore, complete one camera sequence, and then act. In a group, assign one person to the laptop and one to the door, but have the camera operator report the raw observation—“the backyard shows a person on all fours”—before anyone announces a verdict. This reduces expectation bias and mixed clues.

If two players see different states, verify that they are watching the same feed and mode. The door player should not open while the camera operator is still changing views.

If the laptop or feed fails

Close and reopen the laptop once, step away and re-approach, then select the feed again. Check whether another panel or held object is capturing input. On console or mobile, follow the current on-screen prompt rather than a keyboard guide. If a feed remains blank, treat the visitor evidence as incomplete; do not call blank video a specific Anomaly tell unless the current case explicitly describes invisibility and the correct feed is confirmed.

Camera checks FAQ

Should I always turn on night vision?

No. Use it for a case whose current reported signal depends on that mode. Normal CCTV, audio, vehicles, and room state solve other visitors.

How long should I watch?

Long enough for the subject to load and the reported movement, expression, or sound to occur. No official universal timer is published.

Is a blank feed proof?

Only after confirming the correct camera, loaded scene, and a case whose reported warning is invisibility. A technical failure is not evidence.

Where do I learn the laptop itself?

Use Systems: Cameras for the operating routine and Controls for platform-safe input guidance.
