Every door decision in Home Alone (Anomaly) starts with the visitor’s story, not their costume. Listen to the full request, identify the evidence channel it points toward, inspect that channel, and only then return to the front door. Current guides repeatedly use six channels: an outside vehicle, normal CCTV, night vision, audio, a named room or object, and a special identity warning.
Use the correct evidence channel
Do not run every caller through the same camera-only routine. A Firefighter’s claim points to the oven. A Plumber’s claim points to the bathroom faucet. A Police Man report points outside to a vehicle. Other cases depend on a change visible only through night vision or a sound that needs time to play. The fastest safe routine is therefore request → channel → observation → decision, not “toggle every screen and guess.”
If you cannot reproduce the named signal, classify the result as incomplete. Missing evidence is not the same as a safe result. Recheck the room, cycle the relevant feed, or wait for the complete line. Visitor behavior may have changed after Update 2 or the August 4 Roblox timestamp, so a guide entry should never overrule clear current-build evidence.
Currently documented visitor index
Outside or vehicle
Police Man: current sources contrast a police car with a damaged van. Obby Player: check the camera angle showing the claimed car. These details are community corroborated, not official.
House state
Cat Lady/Cat Woman: inspect the cat near the parents’ bed. Firefighter: inspect the oven. Plumber: inspect the bathroom faucet. City Maintenance/Water Guy: inspect the kitchen water.
Normal CCTV
Dumped Girl, Ballerina, Dog Owner, and Homeless Man are currently reported to reveal presence, movement, expression, or yard-state differences on ordinary camera feeds.
Night vision
New Neighbour, Guy Who Needs To Pee, Secret Agent/FBI Agent, Lost Girl, and Sleepy Woman are associated with transformation, scale, or movement changes after night vision is enabled.
Audio
Classmate/Homework Kid, Party Girl, WiFi Kid, and Gym Bro are linked to voice shifts, echo, pitch, or camera-audio glitches. Let the relevant speech or sound finish before acting.
Identity warning
Vampire is reported as a reject-only caller in both current visitor guides. Because no official rule text was found, keep this as a dated community warning and retest after updates.
Camera and night-vision cases
Open the laptop in the front room, select the feed tied to the request, and observe the ordinary image first. That gives you a baseline. For a night-vision case, toggle the mode and compare the same subject rather than switching feeds at the same time. Current sources associate a pressed-against-camera New Neighbour, a taller bathroom requester, an alien-like Secret Agent, a giant Lost Girl, and a sudden Sleepy Woman head movement with warning states.
Normal CCTV still matters. A visitor who vanishes from the feed, stares or moves differently, appears in the backyard instead of the expected dog, or interacts with a vehicle may provide the relevant clue without night vision. See Camera Checks for the case-by-case workflow and Systems: Cameras for operating discipline.
Audio cases
Audio evidence is easy to miss when music is loud, the game is muted, or the player returns to the door before the line finishes. Current sources repeatedly describe the Classmate’s normal-to-deep voice shift, Party Girl’s unnatural echo, WiFi Kid’s repeated camera sound, and Gym Bro’s unusual pitch. These are comparative signals: listen for a change or mismatch, not merely a voice you personally find strange.
If hearing is difficult, use captions or platform accessibility options when available, increase dialogue relative to other sound, and ask a teammate to confirm without telling them what result you expect. The Audio Checks guide covers false positives from lag, overlapping effects, and incomplete lines.
House and story checks
Some callers give you a falsifiable claim. The Cat Lady describes the missing cat; current sources tell players to inspect the cat by the parents’ bed and compare its appearance with her exact words. The Firefighter refers to the oven, the Plumber to a bathroom faucet, and City Maintenance to the kitchen water. Walk to the named object, observe its current state, then return. Do not substitute a different sink, bedroom, or camera view.
These checks are especially sensitive to wording and update changes. A guide may call someone “Water Guy” while the live UI uses City Maintenance, or “Cat Woman” while another guide uses Cat Lady. This index preserves aliases for lookup but does not claim they are official display names. See House Checks for the shortest room route and recovery steps when an object does not load.
A repeatable door routine
- Stop the chore safely and listen to the complete request.
- Match the caller to a current name or alias, but do not decide from the model alone.
- Identify one primary channel: outside, camera, night vision, audio, or house state.
- Observe the exact subject named by the story. Record “not seen” rather than converting absence into safety.
- If the signal matches the currently reported ordinary state, return to the door and complete the normal interaction.
- If it matches the currently reported warning state, use the porch-light rejection action described by current walkthroughs.
- If the evidence is contradictory, repeat once and favor caution rather than inventing a tie-breaker.
- After the encounter, note any sanity or allowance change; it can reveal a mistaken decision but does not prove which earlier observation was wrong.
Visitors not promoted to individual pages
This source batch does not create Police Man, Cat Lady, Firefighter, Plumber, or Dog Owner detail routes. The audit requires live-name and current-build retesting before those canonical entity pages exist. Their supported facts remain in this index and the evidence-channel guides, where aliases and confidence can be shown without pretending one community table is a complete official database.
Next Door Neighbour, Old Man, and Drunk Girl appear in current lists without a consistently documented specific Anomaly tell. Treat their requests as currently documented encounters, use the general camera and story routine, and do not invent a “safe” clue. The Goblin Stalker is reported as a house jumpscare rather than a door visitor; its exact effect also needs current testing.
Visitor FAQ
Should I always use night vision?
Use it when the visitor’s current case points there. House-state, vehicle, normal-camera, and audio cases can be missed by forcing every decision through night vision.
Are all listed tells official?
No. Roblox officially describes the trust-and-survive premise, but the individual tells are dated community evidence.
What if two guides use different names?
Match the story and evidence channel, preserve both aliases in your notes, and prefer the live display name when you can record it.
Is this a complete visitor list?
It is a currently documented evidence index, not a guaranteed complete roster. Updates can add visitors or change clues.
