Chores are now an official part of Home Alone (Anomaly): the Roblox description says Update 2 on July 30, 2026 added new chores. Roblox does not publish their names, count, rotation, exact rewards, or platform controls. This is a currently documented checklist, not an official complete list. Update 2 explicitly added chores after some early walkthrough videos were recorded, and Roblox later updated the experience record again without a detailed changelog. Pick the shortest route for the active task

Use Kitchen Chores for coffee, dishes, lunch, and kitchen cleaning. These tasks share the island, sink, coffee maker, stove, refrigerator, and nearby stains, so learning that zone pays off quickly. Use Cleaning Chores for windows, webs, and plants that span several spaces. Use Room Chores for the two bedroom tasks and the evidence objects that visitors may also reference.

The Chore Checklist is the compact play-along route. It groups every reported task by starting object, destination, completion signal, and common missed step. Keep it nearby, but let the live board decide what is active.

Work around visitor interruptions

Never let a timing minigame or last dirty object make you ignore a knock. Stop safely, remember the current substep, and resolve the visitor through the appropriate evidence channel. For coffee or lunch, note whether the timing phase finished before leaving. For dishes, windows, plants, stains, webs, toys, or clothes, remember the last room or object group completed.

After the door decision, return to the same starting object and check the prompt. If progress reset, repeat the current substep instead of assuming the whole task is broken. If the prompt disappeared, look at the board before interacting randomly. A new selection or refresh may have changed your objective, but the exact refresh rules need current-build testing.

Kitchen task strategy

Learn where the island items spawn, then identify the destination before picking anything up. Coffee goes to the coffee maker; dishes go to the sink; the lunch route uses the pan, pasta, stove, and refrigerator; kitchen cleaning starts with the bottle and ends at several stains. Do not carry the wrong object between stations, because an overlapping prompt can make it unclear which substep the game expects.

For green-zone minigames, make small adjustments and watch the actual indicator. Current guides describe directional or repeated input, but platform presentation may differ. Console support is official; exact controller mappings are not. Use the button prompt displayed on your screen.

Whole-house cleaning strategy

Webs are associated with doorways, windows with the living room and hall, and plants with the living room, hallway, and bathroom. Choose a consistent sweep: front living area, hall, bathroom, bedrooms, then back toward the kitchen. A fixed physical sweep is useful even if object order changes because it tells you which area has already been checked.

Do not trust an exact object count as permanent. One current guide gives detailed plant locations and several stains, but Update 2 is specifically about chore variety. If the completion bar is short, inspect the edge of furniture, the opposite side of a doorway, and the final room on your sweep before restarting.

Bedroom strategy

The reported personal-bedroom task uses toys or crayons and a toy box. The parents’ room task uses clothes and a laundry basket. Move slowly enough to see the interaction prompt on small floor objects. If an item appears placed but the objective remains active, check for another object rather than repeatedly interacting with the container.

The parents’ bedroom also appears in a visitor story involving a cat, so do not confuse a chore object with visitor evidence. Finish or pause the task, inspect the exact story object, make the door decision, then resume.

Allowance and completion evidence

Current guides connect chores to an allowance target displayed on a board, and some repeat a $180 goal. That amount is not presented here as an official permanent value. Read the number in your current session, observe what changes after each completed task, and use Allowance to separate run progress from lobby coins.

A task is complete when the live objective, board, progress indicator, or reward feedback says so. A clean-looking room is not enough. If the game supports a refreshed list after completion, record the before-and-after board rather than assuming every run chooses the same number of tasks.

Chore troubleshooting

• Re-read the exact objective; similar kitchen actions can use different tools.
• Return to the starting object if a destination no longer accepts input.
• Search by room sweep, not by spinning in one spot.
• For a timing task, keep the indicator in the green zone until the game advances.
• For repeated cleaning, continue until the visible dirt or prompt changes.
• After an interruption, verify that the same task remains active.
• On console or mobile, follow the displayed interaction prompt instead of copying keyboard input.
• If a task remains impossible, rejoin once and report the exact prompt and platform; the official listing still asks players to report bugs.
